Job Title: Electrical Supervisor

Locations: Abuja, Lagos, Osogbo - Osun and Ibadan - Oyo

Job Description

  • Managing and monitoring all assigned electrical projects.
  • Completing quality assurance on all electrical components and projects
  • Analyzing and approving electrical engineering plans
  • Liaising with other engineers and clients to ensure overall customer satisfaction
  • Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial, or domestic purposes
  • Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems
  • Negotiate and issue subcontracts and major purchase orders and monitor their progress in relation to their schedule.
  • Complete cost forecast, cash flow, and preparation monthly progress billings for power projects
  • Develop recovery strategies when project schedule or budgets are in jeopardy
  • Participate in all pre-construction activities, including pre-bid and on-site meetings, completing the tendering and construction phases of the project ensuring that all aspects are effectively coordinated and completed within schedule and meeting the specifications while under or at budget
  • Create, track and maintain construction schedules and milestones to monitor completion/progress.
  • Coordinate and monitor the implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance in conjunction with relevant Section Heads.
  • Ensure electrical maintenance activities are performed in a safe, professional manner, in accordance with industry standards, environmental restrictions, original equipment manufacturers’ recommendations and DCP Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Oversee technical staffs in the performance of their duties and provide expertise as required.
  • Enforce accident prevention and occupational health work procedures and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance of all electrical equipment in accordance with DCP/local safety regulations
  • Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.
  • Develop and test models of alternate designs and processing methods to assess feasibility, operating condition effects, possible new applications and necessity of modification.

Requirements

  • Qualification: B.Sc / HND in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 4-7 years experience in the Real Estate Field.
