Job Title: Premium Spirit Seller (Van Driver)

Location: Mushin, Lagos

Job Details

Responsibilities

  • Primary responsibility is tomanagerelationships with distributors and wholesalers to deliver DBN sales volume expectation.
  • Achieve profitable volume and market share target for the territory by driving sales out of the distributors
  • Building profitable relationships with key wholesalers and ensuring wholesalers carry our target portfolio within the territory.
  • Manages recommended price compliance at distributors and wholesalers
  • Build capacity of distributor and wholesalers organizations to deliver sustainable business growth
  • Ensures distributor sales van are deployed to gain full return on our investment by working with Retail Managers & Distributors to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Ensures On Time & In Full Payment by customers via effective management of cash flow (revenue generation and operating expenditure control)
  • Ensures monthly business review with all assigned distributors and top 5 wholesalers in coverage area
  • Ensure effective customer/ business development and management to counter competitive activities in the territory
  • Ensure achievement of Diageo sales drivers for territory
  • Ensure and manage appropriate promotional activity in the right outlets

Education & Experience

  • Graduate with commercial expertise gained across Sales / Consumer Marketing or Sales Management with a good track record of performance.
  • Previous experience in a direct customer-facing role is valuable.

Skills:

  • Good commercial understanding in terms of P&L literacy, strong numerical skills, a high level of computer literacy and previous experience of financial/data are important.
  • Good communication skills - written and verbal. Good interpersonal skills
  • Healthy and physically fit.
  • Problem Solving skills
  • Experienced driver with valid license

Barrier to Success In Role:

  • Not spending time in the field with customers and consumers
  • Inability to identify trends or activities in the market place
  • Lack of numeric skills
  • Dishonesty/lack of integrity

Flexible Working Options:

  • Based in a defined geographical area.
  • Minimum 80% Field Based
