ActionAid Nigeria (AAN) is a not for profit, non-governmental entity registered with the Nigeria Corporate Affairs Commission. It commenced operations in Nigeria in 1999, while the programmatic operations commenced in January 2000 through a Country Agreement signed with the National Planning Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Person Specifications
Education/Qualifications
- First Degree in Social Sciences, Arts or Humanities is essential.
- Masters degree with specialisation in Human Resources Management is essential.
Experience
- At least 8 years minimum working experience is essential
- At least four (4) years HR/OE experience in a large organisation with hands on experience in full cycle management of recruitment, performance management and other core HR/OD deliverables is essential.
- Good knowledge of National Labour laws and Employee Relations Systems is essential
Skill/Abilities
- Excellent management & leadership skills is essential
- Excellent conceptual, analytical, documentation and presentation skills are essential.
- Excellent skills in communication and report writing skills is essential
- Excellent skills in facilitation and capacity building for inter-linkages amongst staff, partners & stakeholders are essential.
- Excellent planning and prioritization skills are essential.
- Ability to think strategically with strong analytical/problem solving skills is essential.
- Excellent financial skills are desirable.
- Membership of related professional institutions is an added advantage
