About the Job

• Opportunities to join a growing consultancy in deploying mathematical modelling and applied statistics expertise to the challenges faced by clients. This is a business at the forefront of research and business applications of mathematics, with key client relationships in statistical modelling, optimization, and data analytics.
• We're looking to talk to candidates with excellent track records in modelling, algorithms, and statistics. Ideally, you'll have an exceptional academic track record including a research degree in some branch of the mathematical, statistical, or computational sciences. Prior experience in applying scientific techniques in an industrial or business environment is desirable as is prior experience in statistical software.

Role

• This company is currently looking for doctoral graduates who would like to use their analytical skills within an environment that is hugely rewarding. This role would suit someone passionate about how analytics can improve outcomes.
• You will be working with advanced analytical and statistical techniques to provide analysis and evaluation on a broad range of topics.

Requirements

• A Ph.D. in statistics, economics, mathematics, or a data-related subject.
• Demonstrable hands-on expertise in at least one statistical software.
• Experience in data handling, file manipulation, conducting quantitative analysis
• Good understanding of statistical methods and their application to data analysis
• Ability to work accurately and quickly to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills (both verbal and presentational)
