We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Role

  • Responsible for identifying business opportunities, handle catering prequalification, Technical and commercials tenders, maintain a good working relationship with client and new contacts.

Responsibilities

  • Research existing markets, identifying new business opportunities and develop business Development plan.
  • Handles prequalification, Technical and commercials tenders
  • Develop creative strategies to retain the clients including interviewing them to take their feedback and incorporate it into the growth plan
  • Efficient in Developing business proposals for new and existing customers
  • Make presentations to correctly position products, services and our presence in the territory.
  • Participate in management team planning, evaluation, and team building that supports theorganization’s growth as sales- driven business.
  • Explain to prospective clients about the advantages of the products or services offered and follow up with them in order to close the business deals.
  • Respond to the client queries regarding the products/Services in a timely fashion.
  • Make quotes based on request sent from customers
  • Assist in Company Branding and Advertisement
  • Coordinate and manage business development activities with other department personnel to maximize leadpotential for all business operations.
  • Build and maintain positive customer relations and generate data about customer satisfaction.
  • Assist Operations personnel in the pre-planning of new projects and business.
  • Prepare the annual marketing budget and track the expenses against the budget.
  • Participate in industry forums, client discussions, and conferences as a representative of the organization.
  • Train, motivate, direct, and manage everyone on the sales team.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc / BA in Business Administration, sales or relevant fields
  • Minimum of 4 years post qualificationexperience as Business Development Manager, Sales Manager or relevantrole
  • Proficiency in MS Office
