A reputable Pharmacy and Stores which runs 3 pharmacies and retail stores across Abuja is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Functions and Description

• Prepare reports for outside services e.g., tax preparation, auditing, banking investments, and other financial needs as necessary
• Advise the HOS if fraudulent activities are suspected or uncovered
• Track the Stores financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
• Review monthly payroll before payment
• Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes
• Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
• Work collaboratively with the Accounts department staff and other departments that liaise with Accounts
• Monitor the day-to-day financial operationswithin the organinsation, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.

Academic / Professional Qualifications / Relevant Experience

• The minimum education requirement will be an Advanced Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field and preferably a professional certified accountant (ACCA or ICAN).
• A minimum of seven years’ experience in Managerial finance role; superior mathematical skills
• Deep understanding of business principles and practices; data privacy standards etc. Familiar with Advancedaccounting packages or any closely related accounting software
• Possess a superior attention to detail; organizational skills; planning skills; research skills; analytical skills; critical thinking skills; problem-solving skills; computer skills
• Ability to create and lead effectively in a team environment and international exposure (either by travel or working with foreign team members will be desirable)
• Ability to think strategically and to analyze complex situations.
