Job Title: Music Teacher
Location: Lagos
Job Description:
The successful candidate for this position must meet the following requirements:
- Must be an innovative and effective classroom teacher.
- Must have proven ability to plan curriculum and develop schemes of work
- Must have ability to teach across age
- Must have ability to function pro-actively as a member of a team
- Ability to play a variety of musical instruments
- Creative application of ICT in delivering a music lesson
- Ability to monitor, review, analyze, use data and make strategic decisions to improve learning
- Ability to organize a school orchestra and musical concert.
Qualifications/Training:
- Candidate must be a graduate specialist in music with qualified teachers' status.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
- Awareness and understanding of key national and international issues in teaching music.
Skills and Attributes:
- Ability to promote and share good practice in the classroom
- Effective written and oral skills
- Commitment to high standards and high expectations.
