We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Agronomy Specialist (Fertilizer Blending)
Location: Apapa, Lagos
Job Summary
- Responsible for the overall activities of the fertilizers mixing should have sound knowledge of macronutrients and micronutrients in fertilizer.
- Overseeing trail mixing process, the documentation system, investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
- Prepare mix to required specifications on a timely basis and document all mix results accurately.
- Study plants and soil in order to develop mix specifications and techniques, to improve crop yield and customers expectation, and solve problems as it relates to the job function.
- Researching, developing, products that diminish the effects of changes in soil, climate, or prevent damage from pests.
- Advice client on mix specification in accordance with soil or plant type.
- Visiting fields and customer sites to collect seed, plant, and soil samples for nutritional deficiencies, other changes.
- Operate agronomy equipment professionally and maintain Agronomy facilities.
- Maintain quality control above the standards set by the company
- Account for each mix and accurate inventory control
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree
- 4 - 10 years work experience.
