Job Title: Company Secretary and Legal Adviser
Location: Nigeria
Job Description
- The Company Secretary and Legal Adviser carries out effective and efficient advisory role on legal matters by providing adequate communication and compliance with statutory provisions.
- He attends the meetings of the company, the Board of Directors and its committees, rendering all necessary secretarial services in respect of meetings and advising on compliance with the applicable rules and regulations.
- He maintains the registers and other statutory records for the company and renders proper returns and notifications as required by the Corporate Affairs Commission.
Job Requirements
- LLB and BL. Advanced degrees and professional qualifications are optional but may accord advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years experience with progressive responsibilities, 5 of which should be in a Company Secretary function.
- Excellent team building and analytical skills.
