Job Title: Head - Health and Safety

Job Description
- The Head Health and Safety is responsible for ensuring that all safety legislation is adhered to and that policies and practices for safety are adopted.
- He plans, implements, monitors and reviews the protective and preventative measures that the company adopts in line with statutory requirements and works to minimize operational losses, occupational health problems, accidents and injuries.
- He plays a key role in controlling occupational risk.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Advanced degrees and professional qualifications are optional but may accord advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years experience with progressive responsibilities 5 of which should be in the management of Safety functions
- Excellent analytical skill, communication and interpersonal relations.
