Job Title: PMC Principal Piping Engineer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: One year fixed term contract (staff or contract basis)

Job Description

• The individual will be responsible for all piping engineering activities on behalf of the client team.

Key Responsibilities

• Review contractors piping engineering activities and ensure they are proceeding to the correct level of quality and in accordance with the project plans.
• Interaction with other disciplines for all interfaces particularly Process, Civil/Structural, Instruments, Material Management and Project Engineering.
• Co-ordination of piping engineering activities for client.
• Review preliminary pipe stress plan and ensure that it is sufficient for proceeding to next phase
• Reviewing plot and site plans
• Attend and contribute to design reviews.
• Prepare, develop and write as required piping engineering specifications, procedures and technical design instructions on behalf of client.
• Review and check vendor document / data / information for compliance with the projects specifications.
• Review and preparation of lessons learnt
• Review of change requests

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 15+ years experience of working with a major EPC Contractor, Operator and/or equipment supplier Refinery project experience
• PMC experience Chartered Engineer
• Must be willing to travel

Remuneration
Negotiable and based upon experience
