Job Title: Linux / Unix System Administrator

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

• Security vulnerability analyses and fixing and tuning
• VMware understanding and exposure.
• Load balancer and firewall concepts, security aspects, and virtual IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN concepts
• Basic understanding of Windows environment
• Understanding of Database concepts is a plus
• Willingness to work in shifts and provide on call support in a 24x7 environment
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
• Relevant certifications a must (such as RHCP/Advanced level/Solaris certified)

Qualifications / Experience

• At least 8 years’ experience in Linux/Unix Administration
• At least 5 years on Linux as a Senior Administrator
• Good troubleshooting and performance tuning skill
• Should be a subject matter expert in:
• Scripting language (shell, pearl, ansible)
• Highly preferred: knowledge of Virtualization technologies Solaris containers, VMware, PowerVM, HP Virtual
• Engine and KVM etc.

Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 monthly.
