Job Title: Manager, Corporate Finance and Investment Banking

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design of Business Development Strategy to ensure alignment of strategy and business goals whilst also developing and executing business Development Plans for the Organization.
  • Responsible for coordinating the identification and evaluation of new markets, identifying business opportunities and prospecting for new Clients to improve the company's market position and achieve financial growth.
  • Keep abreast with market and industry trends.
  • Coordinate mergers and acquisition for clients.
  • Act as transaction adviser and raise funds for clients as required.
  • Develop and explore various business strategies and opportunities for growth within the Nigerian Economy.
  • Evaluate the market penetration of company's products and services to ensure growth and repositioning of company within the Investment banking and financial advisory sphere in Nigeria, Africa and Internationally.
  • Coordinate and actively lead all business development efforts and initiatives within the department and act as the Executive Relationship Manager to existing and prospective clients.
  • Actively drive and contribute to business operations and productivity within company and leverage opportunities presented towards increased revenue in company.
  • Nurture and develop all virile business lines across the different divisions within department.
  • Negotiate contracts, ensure financial success, and monitor quality of service delivery on all business transactions.
  • Understand the Organization's business and seeks to constantly maintain continuous engagement with key executive stakeholders within target organizations.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of BSc in Social Sciences or related course.
  • A relevant Master's Degree or professional qualifications (ICAN or ACCA) will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years post NYSC experience with exposure in financial reporting, financial modeling, business development, relationship management, financial advisory, investment banking
  • Candidate should not be more than 35 years.

Other Requirements:

  • Proven excellent track record of achievement in this role or similar role in a dynamic corporate environment.
  • Ability to provide business acumen, energy, and vision to the organization.
  • In-depth understanding of the impact of changes/trends in the financial services industry
  • Deep understanding of the local and global financial services industry
  • Ability to conduct high level competitor analysis and benchmarking.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office suite
