Job Title: Business Development Associate

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships. Identify and develop business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Proactively initiate and engage sales calls to new prospects
  • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts
  • Locate potential business deals by contacting potential customers, discovering and exploring opportunities.
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • Interface with existing strategic customers to solidify mutual expectations of performance and growth.
  • Define and follow up of yearly targets and objectives
  • Develop and implement strategies for new services
  • Assists in the completion of monthly targets.
  • Develop and deliver the business plans through carrying out research, formulatemarket analysis and deliver accurate business reports.
  • Build referral and lead generation network.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 1-2 years of Business Development/ Sales experience/ client relationship management/ marketing preferably with relevant experience in a luxury real estate company or a luxury brand
  • Have a desire to make a significant contribution to a rapidly growing organization
  • Market research experience
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • A pro-active self-starter who can operate both individually and as part of a team
  • Superior presentation and excellent oral and written communication skills

Skills Requirement:

  • Proficiency in the use of MS Outlook and Office suite of products (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work under pressure
