Job Title: Product Manager - Payments

Job Description

  • The Omnibiz Products Team is looking for an innovative, customer-obsessed product manager.
  • In this role, you will focus on building to optimize an enhanced value proposition for an existing product. You will frequently liaise with customers (retailers and business owners) internal Designers, Product, Marketing, Finance, Data Science, and Tech teams to identify requirements to define the product and feature builds. You will also work closely with external companies.
  • The ideal candidate is a clear communicator (both written and verbal), organized, has a proven track record of getting things done, and is comfortable working in a quickly-changing environment.

Day to Day Job Description

  • Lead and drive the short- and long-term execution of the roadmap and development of payments at Omnibiz working with a healthy mix of onsite and remote teams.
  • Synthesize short- and long-term product ideas from cross-functional teams
  • Identify customer needs and define business requirements to enable product build
  • Evaluate and recommend product and service enhancements that improve the payment acceptance and overall customer experience
  • Provide strategic and pro-active guidance to internal Omnibiz businesses and stakeholders on new partnership opportunities

Qualifications

  • Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly.
  • Ability to handle the ‘hands-on’ day-to-day management of tasks, resolve problems and issues, and implement action plans to meet objectives.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience working in Agile frameworks
  • Experience in payments/e-commerce is an added advantage
  • A keen, flexible and aggressive intellect with superb conceptual thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience developing products, particularly in mobile and payments space
  • Ability to translate user research to developing new products
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and constantly changing environment.
  • Great motivation to drive the business forward. Proactive attitude and willingness to roll up sleeves and dive deep to achieve goals.
  • Demonstrated experience of thinking creatively, taking the initiative and constructively advocating on behalf of clients internally.
