Principal Accountabilities
- Monitor and ensure fleet operation are in compliance with local and state rules and regulations.
- Perform vehicle registration, insurance and formalities and documentation regarding induction of new vehicles in existing fleet.
- Ensure fleet availability to meet all requests by scheduling, forecasting and surveying current user trends.
- Streamline and monitor fuel purchase system with assistance of Fuel Cards for all vehicles and drivers.
- Facilitate and implement corrective actions and capacity building to manage entire fleet to achieve company objectives.
- Providing reports to management on incident, maintenance and fleet progress.
Qualifications / Experiences
- HND / B.Sc in Mechanical, Logistics & Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of general supervisory experience in Transport Industry
- Knowledge of applicable transport laws and regulations.
- Familiar with various types of safety gear and their application.
- Membership of Professional body is an added advantage.
