Principal Accountabilities
- Identify potential threats and create plans to prevent and mitigate problems within the holdings.
- Conduct assessments to define and analyze possible risks that are affecting the company.
- Evaluate the gravity of each risk by considering its consequences
- Conducting policy and compliance audits, which will include liaising with internal and external auditors
- Develop risk management controls and systems
- Create contingency plans to manage crises
- Evaluate existing policies and procedures to find weaknesses and make recommendations
- Work to ensure client confidentiality and protect privacy.
- Demonstrate thorough and fair practices in all investigations and inquiries
- Assist in creating business continuity plans to limit risks.
Qualifications
- B.Sc in Economics, Accounting, MBA or related field. Minimum of 7 years.
- Membership of Professional bodies (ICAN, IRM, FRCN) etc.
