Chemical and Allied Products Plc, a subsidiary of UAC of Nigeria Plc, is the technological licensee of AkzoNobel for Nigeria; (ICI was acquired in 2008 by AkzoNobel, the world’s largest paint producer). CAP Plc evolved from the world-renowned British multinational Imperial Chemical Industries Plc, which formalized its Nigeria operations in 1957 under ICI Exports Limited. In 1965, ICI Exports Limited changed its name to ICI Nigeria Limited and in 1968 it subsumed the paints company.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Executive

Locations: Abuja, Port Harcourt-Rivers, Akure-Ondo and Lagos

Job Description

  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
  • Actively seeks out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, social media, and other avenues.
  • Conducts visits to customers to promote sales and maintain good customer relationships.
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
  • Provides technical, marketing, and sales support to the Company’s customers.
  • Conducts product demonstrations and training to users and to Partners’ employees.
  • Reports on Customers’ feedback and complaints.
  • Prepares weekly, monthly, and annual sales reports on the business activities within the territory.
  • Maintains adequate care of the company’s vehicles and other assets.
  • Performs all other official assignments for the effective implementation of the Company’s Sales Objectives.

Requirements

  • First Degree with at least 2 years experience in a sales role.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role
  • Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role
  • Proficiency in English
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software is a plus.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques.
  • Fast learner and passion for sales
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Aptitude in delivering good presentations.
