Job Title: Communications Designer

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Primary Purpose of the Role

• The Communications Designer will play an integral role in conceptualizing, producing and creating visual content for website, desktop and mobile user interfaces, social media, digital signage, email, report, and documents for the benefit of the Company.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a clear brand message in all communication pieces produced for the organization and its direct associates.
• Communicates with members of print, radio and television media by establishing and maintaining effective relationships.
• Create infographics, icons, buttons, backgrounds, and other graphical elements; support creation of print materials such as program brochures, recruitment posters, and employee engagement materials.
• Support the team for digital Marketing plans: website, mobile and social media marketing.
• Ensure the timely and accurate production of all reports, brochures, magazine and press advertisements.
• Monitor and maintain quality and ensure accuracy and consistency of all brand material.
• Seeks opportunities to enhance the reputation of NOIPolls, and coordinate publicity events as required.
• Designs, edits and distributes press releases to print, radio and television media partners.
• Create and update content for the organizations’ digital media.
• Optimizes company website content for internet search engines through relevant analytics and metrics.
• Develop an interactive platform for discussions on topical polls.
• Develop and implement effective communications strategy based on our target audience by writing, editing and publishing creative content, including photography, video editing, animations, press releases, scheduled reports, social media posts, and other marketing materials that communicates the organization's activities, goals and services

Education Requirements / Skills & Competencies
The Communications Designer must be able to work independently and should haveexperience in the under-listed:

• Proficient in use of the following including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop and/or other graphics programs, WordPress/Web-based applications like Mailchimp and webinar platforms (e.g., Zoom, Skype for Business).
• Photography & Video editing skills
• Essential: Comprehensive knowledge of the media environment
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to pay attention to detail and manage time efficiently.
• Must be able to function well in a team environment
• Must have good problem solving and decision-making skills.
• B.Sc in Social Sciences or any related course, M.Sc is an added advantage
• Minimum of 4 years comprehensive work experience
