Job Details

• Our client, a key distributor of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) is seeking to recruit a talent with excellent record-keeping abilities and great attention to detail for the role of a Stock / Inventory Manager to monitor and report on the company’s inventory.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient handling of the company’s products and supplies and ensure proper management of the overall stock of the company.

Job Description

• Ensuring product stock is sufficient for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers
• Perform periodic stock checks and maintain an optimal stock level at all times
• Inspecting the levels of business supplies and stocks to identify shortages
• Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met
• Place orders to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or surplus
• Responsible for managing and running planned stock takes.
• Ensure integrity and accuracy of the stock management system.
• Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals while maintaining trust relationships

Requirements

• Minimum of OND from a recognized institution
• Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience as a stock manager or inventory manager preferably in the FMCG sector
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools
• The candidate must not be older than 28 years
• Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports
• Candidates who reside around the island and not older than 28 years would be preferred
