Job Description

  • As a Business Development Executive, you'll identify new business opportunities in order to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow in the Pan-African region.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in all stages of the sales cycle. Your work will involve strategic planning and positioning in the appropriate markets, or enhancing the operation of the business, position or reputation in some way.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and Develop growth strategies and plans
  • Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
  • Develop a strong understanding of our business, products, and services to convert leads to new sales
  • Analyze market and establish competitive advantages
  • Track metrics to ensure targets are hit
  • Track all leads, categorize them for follow-up, and prepare new clients for conversion
  • Increasing client base
  • Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
  • Writing business proposals
  • Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
  • Researching business opportunities and viable income streams
  • Following industry trends locally and internationally
  • Establish sales pipeline and develop the business sales and marketing strategy.
  • Plan sales campaigns and increase sales of business
  • Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management/the board of directors

Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or similar.
  • 2-5 years proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or any relevant role
  • Proven sales track record
  • Sound market and industry knowledge on Distribution within the Pan African region
  • Intuitive and insightful
  • Ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable products or services.
  • Great networking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Resourceful, with outstanding research skills.

Salary Range
N150,000 - N300,000 / Month
