We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Gardening Supervisor

Location: Ikorodu, Lagos
Employment type: Full Time
Reports to: Facility Manager
Reporting line: Technician Mate

Responsibilities

  • Supervise staff and supported gardeners at all times, especially while working alongside
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained regularly to provide safe and optimal performance and in line with manufacturer's requirements
  • Review work methods and systems for improved productivity, and quality
  • Regularly check the quality of work being done by Gardeners
  • Maintain required parts levels and ensure that stock is ordered and received as required
  • Ensure all work is completed to meet customer requirements and within the allocated timeframe
  • Keep records of incoming and outgoing parts as required
  • Refer issues regarding employee support to Human Resources staff as required including at remote sites
  • Report and document all near misses, accidents, injuries or hazards by utilising the incident and hazard reporting forms
  • Allocate tasks according to individual abilities and production requirements
  • Ensure that employees receive adequate job rotation
  • Ensure that employees maintain skills learned by regular task rotation.

Requirements

  • First Degree level or SSCE
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in a very similar capacity
  • Sound Communication skills
  • A reasonable level of fitness is required
  • Time management skills is a must-have.
