The Delta State Independent Electoral Commission (DSIEC), invites applications for accreditation of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), Community-based Organisations (CBOs), Faith-based Organisations (FBOS), and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) as election observers for the 2014 Local Government General Elections which have been scheduled for October 25, 2014.
The registered objects of all interested organisations must include advocacy in the areas of Democracy, Good Governance and Electoral Integrity.

Qualifications/Guide to Accreditation
An application must include the following:
a.) Application on the organisation's letter-head;
b.) Evidence of statutory registration with CAC or other authorised bodies;
c.) Evidence of experience in electoral observation, to wit:
- Letter of Engagement issued by DSIEC or any other
- EMB(s) in Nigeria;
- Report(s) of previous engagement(s);
- Any other relevant documents.
d.) Statement on non-affiliation with any Political Party/Association, Candidate or Aspirant;
e.) Evidence of Local Government Area presence stating the address(es);
f.) List of nominated or sponsored officials, their email addresses and telephone numbers;
g.) At least two Trustees or Authorized Officers must subscribe to an oath/affidavit verifying the facts contained in the
application and documents submitted, including undertaking to abide by the regulations of DSIEC.

Organizations which had sent in applications before now, and are still interested in partnering with us, are please advised to respond to this advertisement.
