We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Upholsterer (Sewing & Tacking)

Location: Ilupeju, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Upholstery Supervisor, Production Managers

Key Summary of the Job

• Make furniture pieces such Sofas, headboards, ottomans as per given specifications.

Core Working Relationships:

• Technical Team
• Production Team
• Store and Inventory Team
• Logistics/Procurement Team

Task Complexities

• Take measurements and accurately cut materials required for furniture upholstery.

• Use webbing stretchers to extend webbings and fabrics to be used as covers.
• Manually sew upholstery or operate sewing machines to seam cushions and join various ends of a fabric.

Education & Experience

• Minimum of SSCE
• 5-7 years previous experience as an Upholsterer (sewing or tacking) at a furniture manufacturing company.
