Job Title: Sales Engineer
Location: Lagos
Job Role Requirement
- Able to achieve Products sales targets to industrial and local market customers whilst maximizing profitability in Power Transmission spares, Bearings and Industrial Electrical Solutions.
- Able to keep existing and potential customers fully aware of all new products offered by Deepee industrials Ltd.
- Able To maintain good relationships will all existing and potential customers by regular interaction and seek repeat and incremental business.
- Able to maintain accurate records of customers’ requirements. Including but limited to, purchase methods, usage and financing methods.
- Able to raise the profile of the company and its standing in customers’ and the public’s perception and thus increase the likelihood of sustained, profitable business.
- Able to profile correctly customer stock requirements.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft office packages.
- Able to deal expeditiously with any enquiries, Purchase Orders, queries or complaints.
- Able to effectively communicate new offers and products to new and existing customers in order to stimulate future repeat and incremental business.
- Keep updated on competitors’ products, prices and specifi cations.
Qualifications, Training and Experience
- Technical knowledge sufficient to recommend specific products, options and accessories for customers with specif c requirements in Power Transmission spares, Bearings and Industrial Electrical Solutions.
- OND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Smart and well presented in appearance and maintaining good personal hygiene.
- Ability to communicate clearly and unambiguously with customers and other staff members and record all such interaction accurately.
- Knowledge and experience of the B2B sector of the industrial market.
- Up-to-date knowledge of consumer legislation, regulations and trade practices.
- The ability to strongly but diplomatically negotiate and close sales within company policy.
