The
Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) wishes to recruit suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:
Job Title: Mooring Men (Berthing Men)
The Authority, a government owned agency is charged with the responsibility of berthing / unberthing of vessels in the under-listed locations.
Job Locations:
- Lagos Pilotage District
- Bonny/ Port Harcourt Pilotage District
- Warri Pilotage District
- Calabar Pilotage District
- Any other location regulated by NPA
Responsibilities among others are:
- Safe berthing of vessels and crafts
- Unberthing of vessels
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five (5) credits in SSCE / GCE or NECO at not more than two sittings including English and Mathematics
- Age range: 18-21 years
- Physical fitness
- Ability to swim
