Details

• Qualified and interested candidates are invited to apply in the Departments of Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Mechanical Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering, Benson Idahosa University.

Requirements

• A Doctorate Degree (PhD) in any field of Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least a minimum of 10 years post qualification experience in teaching, research
  and/or professional experience in a University or comparable institution of higher
  learning or industry
• Proven ability to initiate and develop research project
• Proven ability of postgraduate students at doctoral levels
• Substantial publications in reputable journals is required
• Experience in directing academic group research and discussions
• Experience in interdisciplinary group activities are essential.
• Experience in ability to initiate and manage local and international collaboration
• Registration with COREN is a must.

Competencies:

• Proficiency in English is essential 
• Knowledge of programming languages, knowledge and application of relevant software will be an advantage
• Excellent organizational, planning, presentation, communication, coaching and administrative skills
• Adaptability
• An aptitude for continuous learning
• Strong learner focus.
