Job Title: Junior Contract Manager

Location: Port Harcourt I Project Site / Lagos (required consent to relocate to these locations based on Company’s Projects).
Job Description
The Junior Contract Manager will report to Project Manager/Director (Project Level) and Central Africa Contract Management Area Coordinator (Corporate Level).
Responsibilities
- Reviews all contract documents to ensure proper managing of the relevant risk profiles.
- Administration of on- going main contract and subcontracts in accordance with Company procedures
- Ensure that all contractual procedures are implemented and maintained
- Prepares correspondence and maintains records necessary to ensure the effective administration of all contractual procedures
- Assist in the preparation and managing of contract change and claim analysis and resolution
- Ensure all warranties ,bonds, insurances ,guarantees, etc. are in place and maintained and updated in accordance with the Contract and subcontracts
- Investigates problems ad recommends corrective action [1 Handles all contract close-out procedures
Qualification and Experience
- A Degree in Civil Engineering, Law, Economics or Project Management from a reputable university.
- Minimum of 2 years applicable experience preferably in fertilizer pipeline projects
- Specialized knowledge in Contract law.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented and high productivity.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good Interpersonal skills.
- Result oriented attitude.
