Qualifications and Experience
Applicant should be holder of Doctorate Degree in the relevant field(s) from a recognized institution with at least twelve (12) years teaching/applied research industrial Work Experience OR a holder of an Academic Master’s Degree in the relevant field(s) from a recognized Institution of Higher Learning with at least fifteen (15) years of teaching/applied/research industrial Work Experience. Contributions to scholarly publications will be an advantage.
In addition to either of the above, the candidate should have:
- Four (4) additional papers published in reputable journals since last promotion;
- Not less than five(5) meaningful chapter contributions in one standard text book or two (2) standard textbooks;
- At least five (5) other papers read at National or international Conferences/Seminars;
- Evidence of community service;
- Membership/registration with a recognised professional body as applicable.
Qualities
Applicant must demonstrate ability to initiate and supervise applied research/project/ exhibition and also demonstrate ability to offer academic/administrative leadership.
