Qualifications and Experience
Applicant should be holder of Doctorate Degree in the relevant field(s) from a recognized institution with at least nine (9) years teaching/applied research industrial Work Experience OR a holder of an Academic Master’s Degree from a recognized institution with at least fifteen (15) years of teaching/applied research/ Industrial Work Experience and contributions to scholarly publications will be an advantage.
In addition to either of the above, the candidate should have:
(i) Four (4) additional papers published in reputable journals since the last promotion;
(ii) Not less than four (4) meaningful chapter contributions in one standard textbook or one (1) standard textbook;
(iii) Any of (i) or (ii) above plus at least three (3) other papers read at National/International Conferences/Seminars;
(iv) Membership/registration with relevant professional body as applicable.
Qualities
Candidate must demonstrate ability to Initiate and supervise applied research/projects/ exhibition/production and possess ability to take on additional responsibilities.
