Job Title: Business Writer - Entertainment
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with the editorial team to determine writing objectives and content direction.
- Compiling all relevant research using a variety of sources including news/articles around economic, financial and business related
- Writing plans and proposals that identify key trends
- Providing key background knowledge in reports as well as strategic solutions
- Presenting reports, updating based on emerging research or changing protocol and making revisions as needed
- Ensuring that all documentation (both new and old) is preserved and properly filed.
Desired Skills and Experience
- BSc Degree in Accounting / Economics / Finance or related field
- Must have a huge passion and track record of writing
- 3-5 years’ experience as an Analyst or Business Writer
- Experience with statistical analysis and financial forecasting
- Attention to detail and the ability to identify data patterns
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Subject matter expertise
- Experience in publishing entertainment related articles for marketing, branding, and formal proposal writing.
