Job Title: Supervisor (Plantain Farm)

Location: Lagos

Job Brief

• As a plantain farm supervisor, you'll help to supervise a plantain farm from the planting up to harvesting process, also the sales of the products.

Responsibilities

• Management of the farm aspects (nurseries, development, harvesting, maintenance).
• Responsible for the development of the plantations: extensions and replanting.
• Organizing of the crop transport to the factory.
• Budget and cost control.
• Handling, maintaining and repairing of machinery.
• Overseeing farmworkers.
• Liaising with clients.

Requirements

• B.Sc / HND in Agriculture or related fields.
• 2 - 3 years experience in plantain farming.
• Knowledge of farming best practices.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be physically fit.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Must be organized, pragmatic, proactive, result-oriented, rigorous.
• Strong communication and social skills.
