Job Title: HSE Advisor
Location: Lagos
Job Description:
- Increase HSE awareness at all levels within the organisation
- Assist in managing risk and hazards in the workplace
- Coordinate the selection and distribution of emergency communication tools
- Report and investigate incidents, injuries, hazards and implement agreed controlled measures
- Review and analyse monthly safety incidents report and data findings
- Create and develop injury and incident prevention strategies in the workplace
- Monitor workplace compliance with respect to safety policies and procedures (risks, emergencies and hazards)
- Promote safety programmes, conduct regular workplace safety inspection and follow-up action
- Proffer accidents prevention plans within the workplace, conduct regular safety learning and briefings o Implement risk assessment and controls on workplace activities
- Keep close tracking and monitor factory hygiene on a daily basis
- Conduct and complete hazard assessment plans/strategies
- Respond to employees safety concerns
- Address HSE related concerns as they arise
- Assume other responsibilities as may be assigned
Qualification
- 1-2 years experience in a similar role
- Minimum of HND in a related discipline
- Professional qualification in HSE is an added advantage
