We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Kitchen Manager

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Manage kitchen staff in the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
  • Monitor food preparation, plating, and temperature.
  • Conduct quality control on the menu.
  • Develop recipes and menus.
  • Standardize recipes and procedures for consistency in output.
  • Ensure food is prepared in line with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Manage records and disposal of unsellable/expired items.
  • Drive compliance with Health and Safety regulations for production, handling and labeling of food.
  • Establish standard food portion sizes and set the price for menu items.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree or HND qualification.
  • 3-4 years experience as Kitchen Manager or experience in a managerial role in the Hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of a wide range of both local & intercontinental recipes.
  • Versatility with menu creation & planning.
  • High-level confidence in various cooking techniques.
  • Proficiency in the use of Ms. Office suite
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety policies
  • Up-to-date Technology literacy is a qualifying advantage.
  • Organizational skills with keen attention to details
  • High-level emotional intelligence
  • Ability to manage a multicultural team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Leadership and conflict management skills.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 / Month.
