Job Title: General Manager

Job Description
  • This role is ideal for someone who has the right mix of experience, business savvy, entrepreneurial spirit and innovation.
  • The GM will have primary responsibility for managing company operations, the overall growth strategy, organizational leadership, financial and organizational management, external communications, marketing and sales efforts.
  • The GM will report to the GMD/CEO.
  • The GM will additionally be responsible for the development of the sales strategy and marketing and manage all aspects of execution to the plans.
  • The ideal candidate must have been successful in companies focused on the needs of Strategy, Administrative management and Marketing management.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee operating plan, budgets, cash flow and overall company finances.
  • Build and lead an effective and cohesive executive management team, establishing basic personnel policy, initiating and monitoring policies relating to personnel actions and training and professional development programs.
  • Build and motivate a world-class sales & marketing team. Responsible for all elements of sales compensation, tools, planning, organization and structure.
  • Establish and implement short and long term goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Close deals with prospective clients.
  • Ensure that operating objectives and standards of performance are not only understood but owned by management and employees.
  • Ensure that the company and its businesses comply with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and, where appropriate, best practice.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of senior level management experience.
  • Prior GM experience desired.
  • 8+ years of strategic sales and marketing plan development and delivery, ideally directed at large corporations
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, management, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent C-level oral and written communication skills,
  • Track record of building creative and collaborative teams.
  • Willing to both lead at high level and be hands on as needed.
