Dogan's Sugar Limited is incorporated in July 2013 in Lagos, Nigeria as a European invested company for the will to produce quality sugar products in Nigeria. The company is a subsidiary of Ata Ltd. Co.; Ukraine's biggest and market leader cube sugar manufacturing company with more than %70 market share. Currently Ata is manufacturing more than 20 different FMCG products in Ukraine with different weights and packaging.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Utility Electrical Technician

Location: Amuwo Odofin, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances.
  • Ability to trouble shoot and repairing malfunctioning equipment and appliances.
  • Constructing and fabricating parts, good handling of electrical tool and specifications
  • Good understanding of sensors, reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints and diagrams.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic systems
  • Knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) is a plus
  • Understanding of control and power panels is a must
  • Vast knowledge in generators, compressors, water treatment and UPS.
  • Knowledge of high voltage is very essential
  • Electrical wiring and load sharing knowledge is a must.

Competency & Skills Requirements

  • OND / HND in Electrical, Technical, or related degree.
  • Completion of an electrical apprenticeship.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working in a similar role
  • Good reporting writing skills will be an added advantage
  • Ability to work extra hours as demanded
  • Good team player and hardworking
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience operating hand and power tools, soldering and fault-testing equipment.
