Kakab Engineering Services Limited - We are an engineering company that specializes in Telecommunications and satellite engineering. KAJAB has professionals that are well-trained and knowledgeable in handling Network Optimization and RF Sites planning which includes RF Site Survey, RF Planning, RF Optimization, Drive Test, Drive Test Data Analysis and project management. KAJAB also engages in In-Building Solutions and Distributed Antenna System deployment.

Our Engineers handle Microwave link engineering which includes detailed link engineering, path engineering analysis, line of site survey, technical site survey and well-documented survey reports.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Network Field Engineer

Location: Lagos Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Carry out the actual installations as projects also the maintenance of these installations.
• Carry out extensive surveys to identify the optimal equipment and solutions for delivering the requested services.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and operational excellence during all levels of engagements with customers - including during surveys, service delivery (installations) as well as support calls/visits.
• Site troubleshooting. Ability to log in and troubleshoot radios such as Cambium, Aviat SPE and GE3 and Intercom.
• Maintains mobile telecommunications infrastructure.
• Use of testing equipment to locate defective components and make any necessary replacement where spares are provided.
• Act as a leader and mentor in day-to-day operations to provide insights for less experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• Minimum of HND or B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any IT related disciplines.
• Minimum of 2 years experience within the Telecom.
• Practical knowledge of Fiber to home (FTTH).
• Must reside within Lagos island.
• Cisco Network Certification/PMP is a bonus.
• Practical knowledge of GSM technology and installations (any of RF, Radio, Microwave, GSM, LTE or Wi-Fi, and Base Stations).
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Good computer skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skill.
• Great teamwork ability.
• Ability to deliver on tasks with little supervision.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Fiber to home (FTTH).
