- As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, your basic function is to procure, expedite and schedule deliveries of materials and services to job site.
- Purchasing managers are responsible for buying the best quality equipment, goods and services, at the most competitive prices, to enable a company or organization to operate.
- Through effective negotiation, networking and dealing with numbers, are to help the company save money and increase profits.
- You are also expected to deal with other factors such as sustainability, risk management and ethical issues.
