Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Lecturer 1 & 11 (Citizenship Education) in the School of Foundation Studies Department of General Studies.
Job Title: Lecturer 1 & 11 (Law)
Location: Rivers State
A.) Lecturer I
Qualification:
1.) Holder of a Doctorate degree in the relevant field(s) from a recognized institution of higher learning with, at least, three years Of teaching/research experience in an institution of higher learning Industrial experience and contribution to scholarly publications will be an advantage OR
2.) Holder of Masters degree in the relevant field from a recognized institution of higher learning with at least five years teaching and/research experience in an. institution of higher learning. Industrial experience and contribution to scholarly publications will be an advantage OR
3.) Holder of a goo.d honours degree (at least second class upper) from a recognized institution of higher learning or equivalent professional qualification in the relevant field(s) with at least 7 years teaching/research/industrial experience
4. In addition to the.above requirements, the candidate should have:
- Demonstrable ability to initiate and supervise research/projects
- At least, two conference/seminar papers
- At least, one journal article accepted for publication
- Some evidence of administrative and community service
B.) Lecturer 11
Qualification:
1.) Holder of a good honours degree (at least second class upper) or equivalent professional plus a minim urn of 5 years relevant post-qualification teaching research/industrial experience or a master’s degree in the relevant field from a recognized institution plus at least 3 years teaching experience or a doctorate degree in the relevant field from a recognized institution
2. In addition candidate for this post should have evidence of either
- Presentation of two seminar conference papers/exhibition or
- One journal article accepted for publication.
