Job Description
- Assist in the implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Maintain financial files and records
- Maintain the accounting application in the College Enterprise Resource System
- Recording all financial transactions into the computerized accounting system
- Prepare and reconcile general bank statements
- Assist with the preparation of the budget
- Reconcile the ledger and prepare balance sheets.
Qualification/ Experience
- B.Sc. in Accounting
- Professional Accounting qualification e.g. ACA (ICAN)
- Experience in cognate position
- Not more than 35 years of age
- Ability to prepare financial statements and interface with external auditors
- Knowledge and ability to use accounting software essential
