Job Title: Seasonal Chef

What We Need
  • Chefs are responsible for preparing meals at restaurants and hotels. They prepare, season, decorate and present dishes in the best possible ways in order to meet client’s requirements. Chefs also monitor and administer the food prepared in the kitchen by staff members. They specialized in specific food preparations such as pastries, desserts, salads, among other dishes.
  • Applicants should have full knowledge of local and continental dishes
  • Ability to determine how food should be presented, and create decorative food displays.
  • Applicants should have the ability to determine production schedules and staff requirements necessary to ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Ability to estimate amounts and costs of required supplies, such as food and ingredients.
  • Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure conformance to established standards.
  • Instruct cooks and other workers in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food.
  • Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulations.
  • Order or requisition food and other supplies needed to ensure efficient operation.
  • Analyze recipes to assign prices to menu items, based on food, labor, and overhead costs.
