Hobark International Limited (HIL) is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry. The company was incorporated in 1998, starting as a staffing agency based in Port Harcourt. Currently we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Risk and Internal Control Officer

Location: Nigeria (Offshore)
Job Type: Contract

Responsibilities

• Implementing an enterprise-wide risk management framework.
• Driving the implementation and institutionalization of the Company’s internal control framework.
• Review and update Internal Control policies and procedures to ensure adequacy and effectiveness in promoting operational efficiency and protecting the assets of the company.

Requirements

• Possess 7 - 10 years progressive experience in Internal Audit, Internal Control or Risk Management roles.
• Experience in an Audit and Accounting firm.
• Experience in the upstream oil and gas industry (D).
• Minimum of a University Degree - Second Class Honors division (E).
• B.Sc in Accounting / related discipline.
• Possession of a minimum of one of the under-listed professional qualifications (E).
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
• Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA).
• Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
• Association of Enterprise Risk Management Professionals (AERMP).
• Risk Management Association of Nigeria (RIMAN).
• Institute of Risk Managers (IRM).
