Karsto Global Resources Limited is a wholly owned Nigerian company, established with a view to rendering quality Onshore / Offshore Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operation and Maintenance services to the Oil and Gas industry in the West African sub region.

Founded as an organization with the objective to cope with the increasing demand for indigenous participation in the development of the Oil and Gas industry of Nigeria, it also provides Equipment Supply and Representation services for the Oil and Gas industry of Europe, Asia and the America in the West African sub region.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head, Business Development

Responsibilities / Summary of Functions

  • Developing growth strategies and plans
  • Brainstorming with the business development team to create new project strategies
  • Identifying services that would appeal to new clients
  • Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
  • Managing company and client expectations
  • Increasing client base
  • Reviewing time-frames and budgets
  • Writing business proposals
  • Arranging business meetings and one-on-one conversations with prospective clients
  • Attending networking events
  • Building trust and long-term relationships with clients
  • Making professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Negotiating with stakeholders
  • Cultivating positive interactions and relationships with team leaders, managers and executives to evaluate sales strategy and results
  • Motivating team members to exceed expected goals
  • Researching business opportunities and viable income streams
  • Following industry trends locally and internationally
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts
  • Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
  • Developing business proposals for clients
  • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skill
  • Perform any other assigned duties required for the role

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing or any relevant discipline
  • Experience: 8 years and above
  • Experience in sales, marketing or related field

Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills and IT fluency
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
  • Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
