Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Gwarinpa, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• On-site measurements to corroborate with the budget/proposal while checking it with the project BOQ to make sure each work item is in accordance with the specification in the project BOQ
• Negotiation with Artisans/subcontractors to agree on the best possible pricing for the company
• Preparation of subcontractors’ agreement
• Liaising with client representative to get milestone valuation payment certificates and other correspondences
• General site Supervision/procurement
• Preparation of contract BOQs with Prevailing market rates ready for submission during a bidding process
• Advising management on BOQs received from various agencies on its profitability
• Carrying out periodic Market Survey.
• Supervision/follow up with the subcontractor work
• Other responsibilities as it may be assigned.

Requirements

• HND / B.Sc Degree in a relevant field with 3 - 5 years cognate experience and professional qualification will be an added advantage.
