Job Title: Practice Manager

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are looking to hire a young, driven, charismatic and smart administrator who has a very strong work ethic in the position of Practice Manager.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the law firm’s day to day running, human resources, administration, business development and systems management.

Responsibilities
Hands-on responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Developing the organizational traditions, work surroundings and facilitating communication
  • Designing and implementing workplace procedures; managing practice and department budgets
  • Responsible for the identification, recruitment and selection of new hires, training and development, employee relations, counseling, personnel data systems, benefits administration and other HR functions for the legal, paralegal and support staff
  • Determining non-lawyer staff needs including training and tools for effective performance
  • Maintaining personnel records for all employees and coordinating leave schedules of all personnel
  • Communicate and implement firm’s strategy internally and externally to enable all employees understand the firm’s strategic plan
  • Administering, evaluating, and recommending changes, as appropriate
  • Manage the overall management of the Firm’s physical facilities
  • Oversee daily practice operations, including diary management/appointment scheduling, billing procedures, debt collections, cleaning, security, and occupational health and safety
  • Design communication strategies for the firm
  • Create avenues for visibility for the Managing Partner, Senior Associates and the firm as a whole
  • Support the firm, and individual lawyer's business development initiatives and programs
  • Track and follow-up firm marketing and business development leads
  • Develop content for social media and manage all social media platforms
  • Manage firm business relationships, especially client experience
  • Manage marketing and business development events and activities
  • Develop and maintain the firm brochure in digital and print copies.

Requirements, Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Art or Social Sciences. CIPM, CIPD is an added advantage.
  • 2 - 4 years related work experience (Law Firm Experience is an added advantage).
