A reputable domestic Gas Local Distribution Company (LDC), with an excellent safety track record and over 20 years experience in the distribution and transmission of natural gas via pipelines to industrial / commercial customers in Nigeria, is recruiting a qualified candidate to support their ambitious growth aspirations across several operational states in Nigeria in the position below:
Job Title: Field Inspector (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical)
Location: Nigeria
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Support and be the source of reference to client pipelines and other assets / projects on all items relating to quality assurance and quality control (QA / QC) for the particular discipline and specialist area (Civil Mechanical and Electrical discipline required).
- Requires close supervision of installation contractors or other internal stakeholders to ensure that work is done in line with industry and applicable standards while working in line with HSE requirements
- Requires significant and frequent field / site activities and interface management with stakeholders, both internal an external assets located in Lagos, Ogun Rivers, Abia an Bayelsa States.
Minimum Qualification
- OND / HND in Technical or Engineering discipline.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience.
Added Advantage:
- Experience in similar QA / QC role for stated discipline
- Knowledge of applicable QA / QC standards in the stated discipline
- Knowledge of Gas Downstream pipelines and projects and remote site work environments.
