We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head Marketer

Location: Anthony Village, Lagos

Reports to: Managing Director

Job Description

  • The Senior Marketing Manager will oversee and effectively coordinate the activities of the marketing department to ensure that the department’s goals align with the overall business goals of the company by ensuring that appropriate strategies are put in place for promoting the company’s goods and services.
  • Most importantly, the individual will be saddled with the responsibility of increasing the company’s revenue base, market share and contributing to the company’s growth and profitability.
  • Conduct periodic research and market surveys within the healthcare sphere regarding the requirements and feedback on the company’s products and services and ensure clients’ expectations are met and exceeded at every point in time
  • Keep management abreast of the prevailing market price in the healthcare market for similar products and services being sold by the company and advise management on a suitable pricing strategy to adopt so as to maintain a favourable and competitive pricing policy which appeals to clients
  • Establish and maintain business relationships with prospective and existing clients within and outside the healthcare industry which translates to an increased customer base over time.
  • Work closely with the Managing Director and members of the management team to develop strategies for creating brand awareness and increase the company’s market share whilst ensuring that all expenses for marketing purposes are within the company’s budget limit.
  • Conduct periodic trainings for the marketing team on strategies for promoting the company’s brand of goods and services as well as ensuring collaboration in achieving the department’s goals.
  • Work closely with the Human Resource Department in conducting periodic performance evaluation on the marketing personnel in line with the company’s performance management policy.
  • Advise management on the right marketing strategy to adopt as regards investment in marketing activities and ensure a good Return on Investment (ROI) at every point in time. Ensure periodic reports are provided to management on the progress and challenges being experienced as regards marketing strategies being adopted.
  • Creating and developing contents to enhance the company’s marketing activities on social media platforms
  • Negotiating and liaising with third-party marketing agencies.
  • Ensure and coordinate the company’s attendance at promotional events such as trade fairs, exhibitions and conferences.

Educational Qualification

  • A B.Sc / HND in Social Sciences, Humanities and other related field with 3-7 years experience
  • Hands-on experience on the job or a similar job role is required
  • A professional certification in digital marketing or management will be an added advantage

Requisite Skills / Experience:

  • Research and marketing skills
  • Knowledgeable in data analysis
  • Proficient with Microsoft office suite or related software
  • Experienced in budget management
  • Skilled in social media marketing
  • Project management skills
  • Good organizational and team management skills
