Job Description
Reporting to Manager Engineering, the Senior Coordinator, Engineering Design's responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Lead departmental efforts in scoping and executing FEED studies as a first step in new projects and modification to existing facilities. Typical projects include gas compression, treating and conditioning, water injection facilities, offshore wellhead platform design and construction e.t.c.
- Ensure there is a clear technical basis and associated operational data for all engineering activities to be carried out by engineering throughout interfacing with other departments/functions.
- Assist facilities department by putting together technical justifications and documentation for all required permits and licenses, as well as monitoring and expediting progress of such requirements in close working relationship with other company departments.
- Develop and document technical justifications for all key design decisions and changes that affect/impact on company's operations.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
- A university degree in engineering preferably in Mechanical or Chemical/Process Engineering.
- Full member of an internationally recognized professional engineering institute.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Team builder and leader.
- Sound knowledge of international oil and gas industry standards.
- At least 12 years experience in the same discipline
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- A good knowledge of MS Office applications and relevant software related to the position.
