Job Description
We are a new online publication looking for 2 freelance writers. The goal of our publication is to promote positive information about Africa, and provide our readers with up to date entertainment news.
We are looking for writers for these categories:
- Science & Technology (required as soon as possible).
- Arts & Entertainment/Celebrity Gossip
- Lifestyle/Fashion/Culture
- Sports (required as soon as possible)
- Business
Qualifications:
- Must be a strong researcher.
- Must be a compelling writer that knows how to hold people's attention.
- Must know how to cite sources
- Mist have a great command of the English language.
Compensation:
- Less than 530 words - $5 per article.
- More than 530 words - $10 per article.
- Original material/reviews/analysis will be $15 per article.
- Each interview acquired with a celebrity or public figure, will be $20 per article.
- Please note that you will be paid only if your article is approved.
- Afri-Culture holds the right to reject any article that does not represent its views.
- Our part-time freelance writers will be required to produce 2 articles per day.
