A leading multinational Company in Africa with interests in Nigeria is seeking for distinguished, reputable and well-grounded professionals to be based in Lagos. This Company offers a bouquet of services to a variety of clients with a focus on technologies.

Job Title: Senior Sales Director

Location:
Lagos

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
  • Lead and develop the Sales team to support sales strategies and to deliver profitable sales growth. Recommend and implement any changes needed to align the sales organization with overall business strategy.
  • Assess sales staff to ensure effective leadership, and appropriate staffing, structure, skill sets and training to meet aggressive sales goals and evolving business needs.
  • Create and sustain effective collaborative partnerships with key Channel Partners.
  • Assess strengths and weaknesses of Sales Channel Partners, rehabilitating and/or upgrading where appropriate and filling vacancies in key growth markets in support of global expansion plans.
  • Determine and implement the most appropriate sales market structures to achieve revenue goals, secure new business opportunities and win customers.
  • Work with Human Capital department to develop and implement innovative incentive programs which align individual and sales team compensation with goals and objectives.
  • Provide strategic direction for the overall operations of various sales units to achieve business plans.
  • Advise on sales directions, competitors and market trends, including technology trends.
Qualifications, Experience, Attributes & Skills
  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Engineering or any other related field.
  • An MBA will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong selling, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in establishing and building strong collaborative business partnerships with Channel Partners and End Users.
  • Above 45 years of age with minimum of 18 years Sales experience, at least 8 years of which must be at senior sales management position preferably in FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Banking and/or Telecommunications industry.
  • Appreciable experience in enterprise sales will be an advantage.
